Latest foepowered updates from player feedback:
- At popular request, "Loot Left Behind" is no more. Now, in its place, you are tempted to RISK IT if you are fleeing and notice something shiny. Is it loot? Is it a secret new uber-rare treasure mob? Is it worth the risk of the next wave? You decide!
- Corruption strikes' damage range is tightened so the next wave's damage amount is a bit more predictable (note this raised the minimum strike amount as a tradeoff with the consistency, average damage balanced to be similar)
- Slight rebalance of Wandering Mino's damage profile - instead of two large upfront hits, they are staggered a bit - still a deadly foe!
- Reduced critical damage multiplier of foe heroes to 150% (from the normal 200%) as they have strong base abilities vs a player's relatively small hp pool
- Reduce weighting of Wave Surfer and Focuser modifiers as they are more niche build choices, now roughly 25% as likely to appear (hint: use Fate Shaper if you want to be sure to see them!)
- Declining Eldrin's offer now rewards you EXP for your 'wisdom'
- In Level Up choices, when taking a modifier that will max out your existing stack, the offered modifier ranks will flash between green and yellow to help alert you to that optimization (even if the offer is only 1 rank)
- Level up choices will not offer the same Ability as the last two offered for that hero. This is to help you more quickly find the Ability you are seeking and avoid Variant Path rerolls into the same choice. This resets each "round", so going back to town resets your chance to get the same Ability if you need to take that Rapido x3 instead.
- Bribing the nobles to take on the then-current Arena boss makes sure the newly spawned Arena boss is not one of the last three bosses encountered
- Performance improvement - streamlined calculations done each wave spawn to reduce chance of minor framerate drop there
Bug Fixes:
- Fleeing from the High Inquisitor's Portal is now guaranteed to succeed
- Darkheart Boots now actually have their stated 100% guaranteed flee chance
- Deeproot Staff now exists, replacing the duplicated Minewood Staff
- Metal Spikes reduces damage to a minimum of 1, and damage reduction now cannot reduce from 1 to 0. Minimum damage taken is 1. (Note that a 0 damage floating text is shown if a Barrier takes the 1 damage instead.)
- If you somehow obtain all but 1 or 2 available level up modifiers, level ups and merchants will now allow duplicate modifier offers
Update - minor patch 1.0.10.4 put live March 20:
- Added "10%(x) faster charge" to Ascension. Faster is fun!
- Upgraded Legendary Start's gear rewards to T6/Legendary and added Descension as a reward outcome
- Fix edge case in React Proc cooldown resetting from Inquisitor's healing abilities
Update - minor patch 1.0.10.6 put live March 21:
- Add a bit more context in wording of Giga Unlocks to clarify their behavior before and after unlocking
- Variant Path now gives 25%(+) multirank chance to its rerolled set of options
- Variant Path now doubles the weighting effect of Fate Shaper fated mods, increasing your chance to see fated mods when using Variant Path rerolls
- Slight buff (~10%) to foepower gains above wave 10, Tanook wants more customers
- Culler & Hunter will now target the first eligible mob if there's a tie in HP or Max HP, instead of splitting between the two
- Show the hero's played time to max level counter at the start of the round (rather than starting with '--' until the first second ticks), and rounds now have a minimum duration of 1 second
Update - minor patch 1.0.10.7 put live March 22:
- Corruption strikes now scale slightly faster, dealing 10% more damage at corruption strike 10, 28% more damage at corruption strike 50, and 68% more damage at corruption strike 75. Note only 2% of players have achieved 10 stacks of Foepowered, which is corruption strike 50, so the increased later scaling is only a factor in very fringe cases. Tested and confirmed the achievement and leaderboard deepest clears are all repeatable with this change.
- Bug fix - ensure the Lodge's recruits show the proper tier icon and tooltip info for their weapon, issue was introduced with 1.0.10 These changes are all live now in version 1.0.10. Enjoy!
