I want to express my deepest gratitude to the roughly 200 players who have supported, purchased, and played Disguise Royale since its launch in January 2025. Since this is my first game, your support means the world to me.
However, we need to face reality: Disguise Royale is a multiplayer game, and our current player count is simply not enough to find matches quickly and keep the servers populated. I don't want you—the people who bought the game—waiting in empty servers. For this game to reach its full potential and be played in crowded lobbies, we must grow our player base.
Therefore, I've made a very important decision: Disguise Royale will become completely FREE-TO-PLAY starting on April 15, 2026.
What will happen to our current players? To my early supporters who paid $3 for the game: you are the foundation of this project. The only reason I am making the game free is so that you can actually play the game you paid for, the way it was meant to be played—in full servers. Thanks to your support, the game has come this far, and I hope you will have a much better time once the servers are full.
