Hello everybody!
I'm glad to have you all here. I am glad to present to you the official patch notes for version 0.2.0 for the Demo!
This will very likely be the final major implementation of the Demo (excluding bug fixes). From now on, the future of the full game, Station Haven 3, shall be slowly built onto the final game.
I really hope you guys have enjoyed the game!
If you'd like to leave some feedback, feel free to join the discord to chat!
Without further ado..
Official Patch 0.2.0
What's new:
- Added Achievements. There's a total of 6 (4 hidden).
- Added new "Random Events".
- Added Station "responses" to certain Critical Module states. An example can be found in the Manual, but there are more.
- New secret [REDACTED] added
Bugfixes: (All bugfixes will be marked as spoilers, so only look through them if you have played the game)
-Fixed a bug where, after the player would finish a Loop, the "Pod" door would have missing textures.
-Fixed some places where players could get stuck.
-Fixed some typos in the Manual.
-Fixed the Credits end page where it was ever so slightly blue
-Fixed some assets with missing collision boxes.
-Fixed a bug where the player would be able to move while using the Terminal
-Fixed a bug where, if the player would ALT+TAB while using the Terminal, the game would break.
Possibly fixed:
- Fixed an issue where, if a player starts the game for the first time, opening the "Settings Menu" will show the "Graphics Quality" to be at nothing.
Quality of Life (QoL):
- Added a "Controls" page into the Manual.
- Added a 60 FPS limit. Currently, this does not save between restarts.
- Added a counter to the objectives for how many Cassettes the player has collected and how many are left.
- Added a "small headlight", so the player can see around their immediate head area in dark spots.
- Added a counter to the STATUS ALL check. Now, after the Terminal analysis, it will say how many issues out of how many total there are. (Previously, it will only say how many issues were found)
- Lowered the Motion Blur to an acceptable level. Option menu for this is not yet available.
- Updated the Terminal to now properly present whether a door is opening or closing. Instead of just saying "Triggering…", it will now say "Opening…" or "Closing…" depending on the action.
- Updated the "Random Event" system. Now, ALL events have a higher chance of happening.
Currently known bugs:
- One small instance where the Life Support & Generator Display will remain red even when the Status of both sections is good.
- The possibility of getting stuck behind doors and breaking the game.
- Possibility of the graphics bug still lingering there somewhere, somehow. If you find yourself having no Graphic Settings at the beginning of the game, press any of the arrow buttons to fix it.
