Hello everyone,
It has been a year since our last update. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank every player who has continued to wait for The End of Love, as well as everyone who has supported the game with patience and encouragement throughout this journey.
This update introduces "白梨" Route, and we are currently planning to release "曾姨" Route in September.
Many of you may be wondering why there has been such a long gap between updates. The truth is that this past year has been filled with many challenges.
My full-time job is not directly related to art, writing, or programming, yet most aspects of The End of Love require a significant amount of personal time and effort. In pursuit of the quality I envisioned for this project, I often found myself working late into the night whenever inspiration struck, even when I had work the next morning. During the most difficult period, I was sleeping only three to four hours a day, which gradually took a serious toll on both my physical and mental health.
As a result, I spent a great deal of time reflecting on my future and trying to find a healthier balance in life. However, I never stopped creating. In fact, I was constantly revising, rewriting, discarding ideas, and starting over. Unfortunately, nothing I produced during that period felt good enough to me. The more I revised, the more chaotic things became, and I ultimately lacked the confidence to release an update.
Eventually, I realized that the problem was not a lack of passion—it was that my life had fallen out of balance.
With that realization, I made the difficult decision to leave my previous job so that I could devote more time to sleep, exercise, and maintaining my health. I have also invested my personal savings accumulated over many years into the development of The End of Love. My hope is that this will allow me to continue working on the project at a more sustainable pace and finally bring this story to completion.
I don't know exactly where the future will lead, and I cannot promise that everything will go smoothly. What I can promise is that I will do my very best to keep moving forward, one step at a time, until this story is finished.
