We have made it!
The biggest (and only (and last)) update for Umbra Mortis is out for you to nab and download on your personal computers.
Here's what we added:
SOLO PLAY
]You asked and we listened, there is now a singleplayer option for the game, which is comparable in difficulty to the multiplayer one.
LEVEL EXTENSION
We added two sections to the level that you can run through, making the game longer. We also put a lot of work into the end of the game in particular, where you will face a brand new final encounter and see a beautiful cutscene if you make it through.
STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS
You can collect 17 achievements to flex on your friends with.
MUSIC OVERHAUL
We added some flourishes to the main gameplay song and added one for the victory screen.
MINOR IMPROVEMENTS
Different colors for the players
Onboarding improvements, so that the mechanics are better understood
Better guardian bell feedback
Some rebalancing on the combat
Touch-ups for the environment art
You can now reconnect if you get disconnected because of internet issues
We optimized the game
