It’s been a while since I last wrote an update log—I’ve quietly pushed some changes behind the scenes.
But that’s not really fair to everyone, so here we go.
🧟 Fracture
A large batch of new cards has been added. Some still don’t have their final artwork yet, but I wanted to let everyone try them out.
Many of these cards focus on synergy and combo mechanics, which should help address some of the clunky feedback players gave before.
Some of the new interactions might even feel a bit overpowered… but hey, let’s see what happens once players break the game.
🩸 Sanguinar
The Ranger also received some new cards, and a few old ones were removed.
The new cards mostly revolve around the evasion mechanic. For example:
Shadowstep doubles your Evasion.
Afterimage restores lost Evasion.
The focus here is on dynamics. While stacking defense endlessly is fun and relaxing, I wanted players to experience a constant ebb and flow—like a rollercoaster.
Evasion is Sanguinar’s signature defensive tool, and these cards are designed to reflect that.
Also, if you noticed, a few Sanguinar's cards were “borrowed” by Fracture… (they supposedly volunteered).
✨ QoL Improvements
Numeric hotkeys now let you select cards quickly.
Quick-play support: cards will queue and resolve automatically after being played.
Hovering over a card gradually shows its keyword explanations.
Clicking on a Splitter on the field lets you inspect its feeding pile.
