Are you already reaping the benefits of your first victories? We hope so! Today we are going to talk about some nuances of the “Harvest” mode, which we hope you have already tried out.

Those who haven't tried it yet and don't fully understand the context, we'll bring you up to speed. Harvest is a separate game mode with different victory conditions from the classic one. If in the latter (called “Confrontation”) you just need to deprive your opponent of all units in order to win, then “Harvest” offers a special experience. In “Harvest” mode you have to gain reaping points faster than your opponent by killing as many enemy units as possible. At the same time, neutral opponents appear in the arena. We will talk about the peculiarities of their appearance.
In the “Harvest” mode, you must get harvest points faster than your opponent by killing as many enemy units as possible.
The first thing you should know about Harvest mode is that when you defeat all enemy units, you gain the upper hand just like in Confrontation (this rule, for example, does not apply to Hold, but we'll talk about it in the next posts). However, this doesn't mean that the most effective strategy is to defeat enemy units and completely ignore neutral units.
Neutral units appear on the map between opponents. The number of neutral units depends on the number of players on the map. They come at different stages of the game, which brings an element of surprise and great variety to the gameplay both at the beginning of the game and at different stages of the game. The strength of the arena units depends on its type, and this point should not be underestimated. If you have the lowest difficulty, then neutral units have the rank of “veteran”. In case you and your opponent have more pumped up warriors, earning harvest points by killing neutral units can be a priority. it is more profitable not only to kill neutral units, but also to take the points that your opponent has set up for. Be sure to try to steal a couple of kills from your opponent with a catcher or marksman!
Other types of arenas not only give units the “Champion” and “Elite” ranks, but also provoke the appearance of minibosses - unique units with increased characteristics and special mechanics (they are guaranteed to appear on the “Master” difficulty). Even with fully pumped units (rank - “Elite”), you may not be able to withstand such an onslaught. in this case, the match from hunting neutral units turns into a survival. The winner is the one who will be defeated later by neutral units.
For dessert, let's tell you a couple of hidden rules of the mode. When you get three Harvest points, you also get one point of strength, which can help you fend off the onslaught of your rival, and also help you get the remaining points to win. One more thing - the battle ends when a certain number of neutral units appear in the arena. keep a close eye on the bar at the top left of the screen.
We recommend using at least one mage or archer with AOE damage in Harvest mode (empire archers have an ability that deals such damage).
