A big part of how Crypts of Carith feels to play is world interaction.
Opening doors, pressing buttons, collecting items, and manipulating objects are all designed to feel deliberate and tactile, drawing inspiration from classic dungeon crawlers where the environment itself is part of the challenge.
This short clip shows some of that moment-to-moment interaction while exploring the dungeon. While still early, this hands-on approach to world design is a core pillar of the experience I’m building.
More systems, puzzles, and environmental mechanics will be layered on as development continues.
