Hey everyone! 👋
Thanks to all of you who have been playing the playtest and sending us feedback. We really appreciate it. This patch is all about the things you reported, and we think the game feels a lot better now.
Here is what we worked on in Patch 0.1.2.18:
🔧 Game Breaking Fixes
These were the biggest problems and they are all gone now:
- Board game tables now wait for all players to sit down before the game starts. No more broken sessions.
- Fast clicking items at the register no longer causes double scans or locks up the game.
- After loading a save, board game recommended fees are no longer stuck at $0.
- Customer reviews are working again. Board game customers no longer leave multiple reviews for one session.
- Cashier employees now move to the correct register when you reassign them. No more teleporting to spawn.
- Throwing away boxes with items inside no longer gives you a crazy amount of money.
- Switching an employee from cleaning to cashier duty no longer makes them stand at the register with a mop.
- Players can no longer change the board game fee while AI customers are in the middle of sitting down.
👷 Employee Improvements
- Employees no longer start their shift at the metro station and then refuse to come to work.
- Cashier employees no longer teleport back to their spawn point while still processing customers.
- Employees now stand properly on the ground instead of floating slightly in the air.
🎲 Board Game and Economy
- Average cost for board games is now calculated correctly. Profit numbers actually make sense now.
- The set price editor no longer shows the fee from a different table.
- More customers will now visit your shop from the street. We increased the ratio per table.
🧹 Cleaning and Environment
- Tables no longer eat the dirt decals on the floor when placed on top of them.
- Cleaning a dirty table with a cloth now properly removes the decal every time.
📋 UI and Display Fixes
- The Tools section is now listed under Essentials in the guidebook. Sprays are visible again.
- "SprayMachine_Title" text in the Hygiene section is now showing the correct name.
- The Dissatisfied counter on the report screen is now accurate.
- GameFee UI has been updated and looks cleaner.
- The Book requirement under Additional now correctly shows 0/1 instead of 0/0.
- Statistics UI no longer has overlapping text when numbers get large.
More updates are on the way and currently in development. Feedback is always appreciated.
