We have officially reached version 3.00 of CHI Project.
Sorry for the long delay, real life got to me, but Iron Fist Chapter 3 is finally out!
NEW STORY CONTENT
We finally progress to after the murder of Kaori Rokujou and see how Skylar feels (she does not feel very good).
- Iron Fist Chapter 3
- Friendship quest part 1 for Skylar (requires at least 6 friendship points)
FEATURES
- 2 new skills for Skylar (locked behind friendship text messages)
- 2 optional party members for Nathaniel's route
- 1 new shop for Nathaniel's route
- 1 new story boss fight
- 1 new optional boss fight
- Improved DoT UI (individual ticks of DoT now display when calculating damage)
BOSS ADJUSTMENTS
Boss enemies now have visible passives, which makes some hidden mechanics more immediately understood to the player. These include things like
???
- Renamed ??? in Silver Shield chapter 1 to Iron Soldier.
- Fixed Stealth not overriding Analyze priority for this fight
- The briefcase dropped during her animations now is an actual enemy. If left alive, the briefcase will fire missiles at party members.
Electra
- New Passive: Blademaster - User can land critical hits.
- Thunder Reign now inflicts Bleed.
FUTURE STUFF?
Making the Skylar friendship quest took a lot more effort than anticipated, having the workload of the story chapter proper, which puts me in a bit of a dilemma.
If I go with my original plan to release 1 friendship quest part alongside each story chapter update, it will take double the time for the entire main story to release.
I don't know if people have opinions on that, but if you are reading this, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.
