Hello everyone!
New features and adjustments are coming to the Exot galaxy!
GALAXY CUSTOMIZATION
We've finally finalized the update to the game creation interface!
Following player feedback, we've decided to offer more customization options for your galaxies. From now on, you can fine-tune the difficulty level in several ways, regardless of the chosen one :
- Calorie consumption rate (with the possibility of deactivating hunger management)
- Food expiration speed
- General health of aggressive creatures
- General damage level of aggressive creature attacks
- Ability to select the spawn rate of each aggressive creature ("none", "less", or "normal")
BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS
Following our observations of Exot live streams, we felt it was necessary to modify certain game balance values :
- Reduced the unlock price for the circuit board recipe
- Increased stack size to 50 (from 20)
- Added 40 additionnal copper cartridge and 40 additionnal slingshot's ammunition in the starter pack
- Removed spawnpoints generation on medium islands (in some cases you could respawn on a remote island without being able to leave)
GAMEPLAY ADJUSTMENTS
We've also adjusted some gameplay and interface elements :
- Automatically launch recipes in workshops when fuel is added (if the ingredients are already loaded)
- Increased the compass display distance of custom markers placed on the map
- Reduced the brightness of the portal animation (which could be a little too bright on some PCs)
- Added new ambient music
We've also, of course, fixed the bugs reported to us since the last update.
The full list of features in this update is available on our Discord.
We look forward to your feedback to see if these adjustments work for you !
See you soon !
