Greetings, commanders!
This week, we've been working hard to improve the gameplay experience in A World at War: Tactics, and we're excited to share our progress with you. Here's a summary of the most important changes:
New Graphic Style: A Bigger, Easier-to-Animate Chibi Style!
We've redesigned the game's units to feature a bigger chibi style. This not only makes them more visible on the battlefield but also makes animation easier. The larger heads and compact bodies now allow for greater expressiveness and movement. This change will improve visual clarity, especially at smaller resolutions and when units are deployed on the terrain.
What does this mean for you?
More charismatic characters and smooth animations that will immerse you further into the action!

UI Improvements: Detailed Terrain Information at Your Fingertips
We've made significant improvements to the user interface to provide you with clearer and more accessible terrain information. Now, when you approach a battlefield area, you'll be able to see more precise details about defense, terrain type, and other key attributes that will affect your combat tactics.
What does this mean for you?
Improved Terrain Visualization: You can now quickly identify how the terrain affects units, whether by providing cover, hindering movement, or altering defense points.
Real-Time Terrain Stats: When you select a tile, you'll see a detailed summary of the terrain, including its type and the effects it has on units in that area.
Intuitive Interface: We've optimized the design to make terrain information easy to read without interfering with the action on the battlefield. Now, you can make more informed decisions without distractions!

Gameplay Updates
As part of our gameplay improvements, we're introducing new support units: Medical Units and Combat Engineers. These units will play a crucial role on the battlefield, offering unique abilities to strengthen your strategy.
Medical Units: They will be able to heal wounded units, keeping your fighting force in the fight for longer. Don't let your soldiers fall behind!

Combat Engineers: Specialized in repairing vehicles and fortifications, combat engineers will be able to fix damaged units and build structures to reinforce your defense.

These new units will provide an additional layer of strategic depth, allowing you to adapt your tactics to the battlefield's circumstances.
What does this mean for you?
Now you'll have new ways to manage your army, ensuring your troops stay on their feet and ready for action.
Thanks for your continued support, commanders.
This is just the beginning of the major improvements we have planned. See you on the battlefield!
