We’re Back – and Chronicles Reborn Is Joining Steam Crafting Fest!
It has been a little quiet here for the past few months, but Chronicles Reborn has certainly not been standing still behind the scenes.
I’ve been continuing to develop, improve and reshape different parts of the game—and I’m excited to announce that Chronicles Reborn will be taking part in Steam Crafting Fest!
What’s Been Happening?
After watching people play the game at DreamHack Birmingham, I came away with plenty of useful feedback and a much clearer idea of what needed more attention.
Since then, I’ve been polishing existing systems, fixing problems discovered during the event and expanding the parts of Chronicles Reborn that make exploration and discovery feel rewarding.
The Brightwyn Sanctum

One of the biggest recent additions is the mysterious Brightwyn Sanctum.
Deeply connected to the history of the Brightwyn Order, the Sanctum will play an important role in the story of Chronicles Reborn and the player’s journey as a Protector.
I don’t want to reveal too much just yet, but its introduction has allowed me to expand the reworked Stolen Legacy quest with more mystery, environmental storytelling and magical discoveries.
Lost Knowledge and Magical Signs
Lost Knowledge remains at the heart of progression in Chronicles Reborn.
While exploring the world, players will uncover fragments of forgotten knowledge that gradually reveal new possibilities—including crafting stations, tools, recipes and other gameplay systems.
I’ve also continued developing the Magical Signs found throughout the world, strengthening their connection to exploration, discovery and the secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Learning Paths
I’ve also been developing the four Learning Paths:
Pathfinder – exploration and travelling through the world
Wayforger – crafting and resource efficiency
Beastcaller – taming and bonding with creatures
Spellbinder – magic and soulbinding
These paths progress naturally through the way you play. Exploring, crafting, taming, using magic and reading books will gradually improve the relevant path and unlock useful passive abilities and bonuses.
Building and Customisation
Building is becoming much more personal, too.
The new customisation system allows players to change wall finishes, wallpapers, furniture fabrics and other decorative details. Additional styles can be discovered and unlocked through the Knowledge system as you explore.

I’ve also continued improving crafting categories, recipe cards and the overall inventory and crafting interface to make everything clearer, more consistent and better suited to the colourful fantasy world of Chronicles Reborn.
Creatures, NPCs and Mounts
Work has continued on creatures and NPCs, including the Drak Scout, Hunter and Warrior, alongside improvements to their movement, animations and behaviour.
I’ve also been experimenting with rideable and tameable creatures, including new mounting, movement and camera systems. There is still more work to do here, but seeing these creatures begin to feel like part of the world has been incredibly exciting.
Steam Crafting Fest
There won’t be a playable demo available during the event just yet. Chronicles Reborn is still actively in development, and I want the public build to represent the game properly.
However, I will be sharing something new during Steam Crafting Fest and offering another look at the world, exploration, gathering, crafting and building currently taking shape.
Thank you to everyone who has continued following Chronicles Reborn while things have been quiet. Your support, feedback and wishlists genuinely make a huge difference.
We’re back, baby—and there is plenty more to come! ✨
Wishlist and follow Chronicles Reborn on Steam to keep up with the journey.
