Ahoy, NightMariners!
I’m happy to announce that NightMariners will be released on 15.05.2026.
After the feedback I received from the older version of the game, I decided to rebuild NightMariners almost from the ground up by myself. This took longer than I expected, but I wanted to improve the core gameplay, atmosphere, controls, and overall feeling of the game as much as I could.
NightMariners is a co-op horror adventure game set across dark seas, cursed islands, and dangerous caves. You and your crew sail to mysterious islands, enter deep caves by raft, recover lost Core Fragments, and try to bring them safely back to the ship. But once a fragment is taken, the island becomes more dangerous. Lights begin to fail, navigation becomes harder, and creatures start closing in.
Compared to the older version, the game now has improved ship controls, more action, more creatures, better sound design, smoother gameplay, and more things to discover. I also worked on making the game feel more atmospheric, more readable, and more enjoyable to play with your crew.
Since I’m developing the game alone, it can be difficult for me to find every bug before release. If you encounter any bugs, issues, or balance problems, please let me know. I will do my best to fix them as soon as possible.
I also want to give something back to players who help improve the game with useful feedback, bug reports, or support. Whenever possible, I would love to thank these players in the credits or add something small and special for them inside the game.
I know that I’m releasing NightMariners a little earlier than I originally wanted. However, I plan to keep updating the game after release and bring it closer to the version I truly want it to become. There are still a few major mechanics and improvements I want to add, and I will support the game with updates over time.
Thank you for reading, and thank you to everyone who has supported NightMariners so far.
See you on the dark seas.
Good luck, Mariners!
