Recitallion is releasing very soon, we decided to give you all a taste of the game through this free demo to get you hyped for the full release! So let's go through all that this demo has to offer!
Quick Mode
Quick Mode offers a simplified Recitallion experience, ideal to get you used to card synergies for the upcoming Deck Mode, or to simply have a slightly less sweaty experience! Each team selects a card type, and must then face off with a deck made of both card types!
Local and Online 1v1
Experience Quick Mode both from the comfort of your couch with your friend (or enemy) next to you, or engage in online bouts with Rollback Netcode, ensuring minimum latency!
Tutorials
Learn the basics of Recitallion through a set of small challenges! The game can get pretty overwhelming at times so don't hesitate to come back and play those challenges!
Practice
Throw yourself into Practice Mode to hone your skills on your own as much as you want to! This is probably the most Work In Progress aspect of the game, as many features are planned to be added in practice mode in the future, but we wanted players to still have a training room that they can use for the demo. Note that you can use the practice mode with a buddy locally as well!
Deck Builder and Card Viewer
While Deck Mode will only be available in the full game, you can still get yourself acquainted with the game's deck builder! And if you are confused about which card does what, you can check more information in the Card Viewer!
On the side of our demo release we have also opened our ngl link for questions! So if you want to ask us anything about Recitallion you can do so on this link!
We at Shogi Cards hope you're gonna enjoy the demo, and that you look forward to Recitallion's full release later this month!
