Talent Tree's are here!
In terms of progression within the game there was unlocking cosmetics but I wanted to add a little more.
Classes have a Max of 10 Talent Points (Capped when you hit Level 10 with a Class)
Class Talent Tree's come with 3 sections:
Minor Talents (left)
Class Bonuses (middle)
Sub-Classes (right)

More About Talents Tree's:
Minor Talents:
Bonuses for each run that are tied to just the particular Class such as bonus Strength
for a the Knight Class. These can typically cost one Talent Point or more, or can have several steps.
Class Bonuses:
A Choice of Two Bonuses one unlocked at Level 3 and the other at Level 9 Per Class!
These effect all other Classes so gives you a reason to play a Class you might not normally choose.
These cost a minimum of 2 Talent Points, the Level 9 Bonus can cost even more though!
Sub Classes:
Cost zero talent point's and add 3 Cards per sub-class selected to the potential pool of cards you can receive. You can only however select One Sub Class from each column (pick one or the other).
Summary - Subclasses aren't finished:
I have only completed ALL subclasses for the Knight. There are no Subclasses at this time for the Paladin or Guild Master but they do have their Minor Talents and Class Bonuses!
This update when its fully realized in terms of Cards adds 18 Per Player Class with 5 Classes that's a future 90 Cards.
New Content!
18 Cards for Knight
6 Cards for Mage
6 Cards for Rogue
1 Card for Ranger
1 Card for Cleric
1 Card for Spirit Doctor
New Status Effects (Grit, Vitality, Agility, Footwork, Dynamism, Heat, Swashbuckler, Stalwart)
The additional singular cards might seem a little odd - but for example Faith is typically a useless stat for decks that don't belong to a Cleric or a Paladin but since all Classes can have a Talent Point spent in Faith or Willpower (for example) new cards have been added to add some Synergy where there may not have been previously. Sub Classes may unlock new Play styles or a Certain Theme might be encouraged by a few of them.
The Mage Class had a few meme cards that scaled of Strength but has one Sub Class that leans into that a bit more called Battle Mage and may justify the Shield and Sword cosmetics you can use for the Mage for added flavor.
General Talent Tree:

Town Talents:
Its not Super exciting to add a bunch of Trinkets (Relics for my STS guys, I had to re-name some things to be somewhat original) to the game that have an economic focus such as additional card choices or gold gain (though they exist - but I don't want to add to many more).
So long story short there's a talent tree that effects all runs that has more of an economic focus! This one is tied to your Account Level
For this Tree it follows the same rules in some respect:
Minor Talents (left) useful economic bonuses
Major Talents (middle) these just have a very strong effect
Guild Companion Classes (right) these cost 0 points
Companion's in the Guild:
Regarding the Guild you don't get every Companion Class unlocked by default. The Default Companions are the: Ranger, Cleric and Spirit Doctor.
Every other Class is locked behind your account level. But it also allows you to simply veto or get rid of Companions types if you don't want to see them appear in your run (outside of the Default 3).
Other Plans for Content:
I'm a solo developer with a full-time job and other commitments (and projects!) so I have no idea if I will get around to these but here is what may (or may not) come out in the future:
Draft Mode - Like Hearthstone Arena in a way - Draft an entire Class. Only the Cards you have unlocked in the Compendium will appear as choices here. Create some unique combos or experiences with a Multi Class. (This would extend to Talents, Starting Trinket, Starting Cards, Cards of Different Rarity and would Include the ability to Draft Companion Class cards)
Final Class - The Wretch think the deprived starting Class from Dark Souls a Class whose Life is going to be on "Hard mode"
Part 2 of The Sub Class release - I have another 60 cards to create if you have any suggestions use the Bug Report forum or Community Tools I guess! (I can see its crickets in there ːsteamsadː but all good some things are better off left un-said ːsteamhappyːːsteamsaltyː)
