Heavy Metal Machines always had its focus and orientation on developing itself inside the e-sports scenario. We truly believe in that, and Hoplon has already organized two regionals championships - European and South American - with cash prizes for the winners.
European Championship
In June of 2017, we had the first edition of the European Championship, which was won by the Russian team KVASDOPIL. The tournament had a prize pool of more than €10,5K, rewarding the top eight teams.
South American Championship
After this, in October, the South American server hosted the South American Championship. Besides the R$ 12.5K prize pool, the competition awarded the finalists with a limited edition championship skin, t-shirts with the team’s logo, and Razer Kraken headphones for all players from each team. In that occasion, the winner was Zony Gaming.
Much more coming in 2018
In addition to all of this, the game counts with community championships organized by Line eSports, which gives in-game coins (Fame) weekly. For 2018, a lot of other events are being planned for this scenario, from college championships to new editions of the regionals championships with face-to-face finals, bringing more and more strategy and competitiveness.
