In this update, we’re introducing two new mechanics that push the game deeper into more immersion: Toxic Gas Outbreaks and the Carrier System for immobilized patients.
Toxic Gas Outbreaks
When bodies are left untreated in the hospital halls, decomposition can now spread deadly toxic outbreaks across nearby areas. These contaminated zones become hazardous for both civilians and hospital staff, forcing you to manage the growing crisis inside the hospital itself.
Contaminated areas slowly become harder to operate in:
Staff may get sick while treating patients
New diseases may appear when people remain too long near decomposing bodies
Panic and morale loss spread across the hospital
Keeping the halls clean is now a matter of survival, not dignity.
Every corpse becomes another burden on your already collapsing hospital.
Carrier System
Immobilized patients no longer instantly teleport into beds. They must now be physically carried by hospital staff.
The new Carrier System allows staff to carry immobilized patients between rooms, treatment areas, and safe zones inside the hospital.
During emergencies, moving patients takes time, manpower, and sacrifice, especially when the halls are already overcrowded and contaminated.
