An important part of Vespia: Shield of Aberration will be the management of the city and operations during your run. The end goal of the game is to push the anomalies out of the city, however it is also possible for the opposite to happen: the city can become overrun and the academy is lost, marking the end of the game.
The place you manage what operations you perform is the city map, which shows the different possible locations of anomalies. Each opreation has different objectives to fufill as well as a different reward for completing them.
Accompanying the map is the meta-shop, where you can purchase new cards so that the further you progress, the more varied your gameplay will be.
New characters will be unlocked as a reward for certain special 'rescue missions'. During these missions, you wlil be able to purchase the character from the shop that shows between waves, which will be one of the mission objectives.
