Hi there.... I know it's not the 3rd yet, but to hell with it. I have news, and its gonna be rambly~ (Not the Raccoon)
I've basically finished NullSuite. cept for minor bugs and what not (and a nullmonitor UI redesign, but idgaf about that atm) - That means full steam ahead to work on Ardron Universe
Project Elusia has finally found its permanent form.
So. Concerning #2.
I wasn't really thinking about it. I been way too deep into python coding that, but like I said in the last update. I can't escape this universe/game ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
Sometimes I day dream, and end up writing mechanics and lore and all that good stuff in the middle of working on other things.
this was (kinda) one of those times.
So. I was discussing the new AoA spell system with my buddy Syn
and then that led me down a wild tangent. A discussion about lore, the information during the 10k war. and how things went. and it kept going.
Like I've said previously... I've had... hella ideas for what I've wanted to do with Project Elusia, and now that I have the one I want set in stone. Lets show the other ones I had planned up.
A (sorta) Idle game, where you grow biomes and expand the universe of elusia discovering new species and what not through doing so.
A Pet caring simulator. something similar to Nintendogs, and the Chao Garden from Sonic Adventure games, except it would be creatures from Elusia, with a lot of things to do with'em. and with the new server setup, connect to your friends worlds via steam and do a bunch of neat co-op stuff together.
A puzzle game ala Tetris or something similar, matching plants, and using species as "powers" to help you in a pinch. some puyo puyo/mean bean machine type situation. i love those kind of games.
An elemental collection game, where your goal is to collect elements through an adventure and create an Elder Primordial, to possibly rebirth your sister Iwata.
....and like 3 more.
I had ideas.
Many of them. Good ones too. Those are just the surface explanations to ...yaknow. explain what they were. Had pages of in depth mechanics and goals and such for each.
BUT. like i said they were rejected for one reason or another. or I felt it didn't "fit right" whatever the hell that means. Ideas are easy, and cheap. Expounding on them is expensive, and I always do. So it sucks to throw away those ideas... Well I didn't throw them away, but they aren't going to be used in AU.
👏 ANYWAYS. onto the main event.
Project Elusia is now Verdant Thesis.
In the middle of the war. The land of Elusia is being wracked by Entar's bs, and she can stand idle no more. She refuses to watch her creations become corrupted without fighting back anymore.
She orders her demigod's and others to.... start using Green Mana in offensive ways, or utilitarian ways that can support other gods armies in the war.
Which will certainly be difficult... Green mana is made to grow the earth, or heal wounds...
How do you make this mana type bend to your will?
How do you turn healing into warfare?
You will be given ingredients...and all the green mana you need.
...This is your job. Figure it out. Elusia depends on you.
In other news. I've spent a good countless hours making AU look like garbage :D
e.g. make it look like its supposed too, on a CRT.
The ultra bright, and ultra sharp pixel corners are... while accurately correct. kinda harsh to look at? So. Adjustments been made.
Now.... I have notes to type up.
Toodles.
P.S. there will still be an update on the 3rd
Love you all 😌 thanks for reading my ramblings~
FUN NOTE: After clicking "post" it didn't post....
i got logged out. my account went gray, and was just a steam app ID, and i couldn't log in. SO THAT WAS FUN. >:V Steam will not stop the power of Elusia!
(just kidding Steam. ily bb. I'll make you cake. ok :D?)
