Hey everyone,
In today’s devlog, we want to give info that you will be encounter in the the full version of Mini Racer Car Shop Simulator regarding the spare part rebalancing.
Spare parts are central to how you improve your cars in the game. Whether you're aiming for better speed, sharper handling, or smarter AI performance, every upgrade counts. In the full release, we’ve made some key changes to how these parts work and how you unlock them and creating a more balanced and rewarding experience overall.
Spare Parts & What They Do
Before we talk about the balancing changes, here’s a quick breakdown of how spare parts and performance stats work together:
Performance Stats:
- Top Speed – maximum speed your car can reach
- Acceleration – how fast your car gets to top speed
- Handling – stability and control, to make better speed in turns
- AI Level – how smart your car is at choosing lanes and paths during races
Spare Part Categories:
- Motor – increases Top Speed, perfect for long straights
- AI Engine – improves AI Level, helps your car make smarter decisions
- Suspension – boosts Handling, giving you better control in corners
- Turbo – raises Acceleration and Top Speed, ideal for fast recovery
- Rim & Tire – improves Handling, especially on technical tracks
- Chassis – enhances Acceleration, Handling, and Top Speed, offering balanced performance
Choosing the right combination of parts makes a huge difference, especially as races get more competitive later in the game.
What’s Changing in the Full Version?
We’ve rebalanced two major things:
- The effects of each spare part, to make every upgrade more meaningful
- The unlock progression, so that parts become available gradually, encouraging better planning
Even with this structured progression, there are still chances to earn parts early. You might get a high quality part from a car box bonus, or win them by placing well in race events.
Custom Value and Selling Extras
There’s more good news, by adding spare parts to a car not only improves performance but it also increases the car’s selling price. If you enjoy customizing cars for resale, this is a great way to earn extra income. And if you ever find yourself with spare parts you don’t need? No worries, you can sell excess parts directly. It's a useful way to turn leftovers into cash and fund your next upgrade or restock.
With these balancing changes, we’re aiming to make gameplay feel more strategic, where your choices in upgrading and selling really matter.
That’s it for now. We’ve got more devlogs on the way covering more contents and feature you will encounter in the full version of the game.
