The first major content update (0.3 Wellness) is right around the corner, much closer than you might think. Next Monday, we will announce the date of its release. But right now, as divided as we are in not spoiling any of the content, we also want to give you a small peek at what is coming up.
WELLNESS
Our team has been hard at work not only to create new items that will allow you to give a brand new look to your park, but also new game mechanics, new challenges, and even an entire questline, with 4 new Steam achievements coming up (there goes the perfect 100% achievements some have).
But you are not here to read our yappings, you are here to see new stuff, so here you go (we won't explain what things are, as not to spoil too much until release)
Ups, clumsy me just "accidentally" uploaded some behind-the-scenes from the multiplayer branch that we are working on for a later update (not 0.3) as well. Oh well, nothing I can do now.
The new Daz-ling visitor
A new VIP easter egg visitor can appear in your park now. Meet Gaz. Just don't ask about the duck games.
0.2.100
This is most likely the last update before 0.3 comes out. It was mainly backend preparation for the new stuff, but we also wanted to introduce some new safeguards to avoid saves being corrupted. From what we could see, this could happen in computers where the hard drive was a bit slower in writing the info and would not complete the save. We believe that between this and the 10 backup files, your save files are now safe from any problem. As usual, both our Discord and support email - [email protected] - are open to help you guys.
Here are the full patch notes for 0.2.100
BUG FIXES
Fixed a tombstone decoration that could not be painted
Corrected an animation of water in a 3-star slide
Resolved a case where promoted staff speed would not increase as it should.
Fixed a scenario where cleaners would get stuck in puddles after they had already been cleaned.
IMPROVEMENTS
Added extra safeguards to avoid corruption on save files, especially on hard drives with slow writing speeds.
NEW FEATURES
A new special visitor straight from the UK can now appear in your park (now stop asking for them in all our posts ;p )
We are already working on not only fixing some issues mentioned by you all, but also adding new features. So stay tuned.
Thanks for all the support, and remember, if you have an idea, feedback, or bug you want to share, feel free to use our Steam community hub or Discord. We are always there to listen and chat with you. https://steamcommunity.com/app/3293260/discussions/
NOTICE - We sometimes might release very small updates to solve 1 or 2 more urgent issues that appeared and not release a patch note for those immediately but add them to bigger update patch notes on following updates
