HEY RATSHAKERS,
DO YOU HEAR IT? THE SCRATCHING? THE CHITTERING? THE HIDEOUS, UNHOLY SHAKING OF THE RAT?
WE HAVE CRAFTED A NEW OFFERING FOR YOU ALL. A CURSE. A GIFT. A PACT.
INTRODUCING:
RATSHAKER™ - Supporter Pack
From the very first trembling grasp to the final desperate squeeze, you've been with us. You shook. You suffered. You understood. This Supporter Pack is for those who believe in the cause. The chosen ones who want to go the extra mile to support us and our spiraling descent into madness.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE?
SEVEN NEW SKINS - Grotesque, magnificent, unspeakable. All deeply, deeply wrong.
Toggle them from a new cosmetics panel in the pause menu.
PURELY COSMETIC – No buffs, no bonuses, no advantages. Just a RAT that looks & sounds different in ways you may come to regret.
A COVENANT BETWEEN US – This is no mere DLC. This is a PACT. You do not simply buy this DLC, you commit to it. We are bound now. You have chosen to sustain the unsustainable & now you fund the unfathomable.
You do not own this DLC. It owns you.
OUR THANKS. OUR GRATITUDE. OUR PENANCE.
IN THE DARKNESS, WE COOK. The screens glow with the sickly light of our twisted creation, and we no longer know where the day ends and the night begins. We willingly toil in this madness, crafting horrors from the darkest depths of our minds. Your support keeps this madness alive. We keep cooking, we keep creating, we keep shaking, because we must.
Thank you. We love you. We fear you.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE
You thought we’d stop there? No, no, no. The rot never rests, the vermin never sleep, and we are never done fixing things that should have worked in the first place.
- INCORRECT RAT PAUSE - When pausing the game, the RAT would un-squeeze but still be stuck in a frozen squeeze animation, as if time itself had rejected your grip. The rat now correctly represents its state (squeezed, dead, shaken) even when paused. The RAT cannot escape.
- RATS NOW SWARM PROPERLY ON DEATH – Due to a misconfiguration in collision parameters, rats did not properly engulf your corpse in a tide of vermin. This has been corrected. Your body will now receive the appropriate, overwhelming, rodent-based attention.
- TVs NO LONGER DEFY THE LAWS OF TIME – Previously, TV videos continued playing when paused, but their audio did not. This paradox has been resolved. Now, when you pause the game, the TVs will pause too.
- MISSING CHECKPOINT AFTER 2ND GENERATOR – There was a missing checkpoint in the basement after the second generator. This was not intentional. It has now been added, ensuring you don’t have to suffer needlessly. Just... the appropriate amount of suffering.
- IMPROVED UI TEXT READABILITY – These words should be seen. Now they can be seen better.
- CURSED VHS TAPES NO LONGER BLOCK MOVEMENT – Some VHS tapes on the basement floor trapped players in an unholy grip, forcing a restart. These tapes have been exorcised.
- BASEMENT SHOWERS NO LONGER CURSED – A misaligned shower cubicle in the basement showers has been fixed. You may now bathe in peace. But why would you?
HAVE A RATRATRATRATRATRATRAT-TASTIC DAY!
Make sure to restart Steam to apply this update.
Thanks for playing RATSHAKER!
Keep shaking that RAT! 🐀💕
