Howdy Folks!
The Xeno Update for P.A.C.K. :: Post Apocalyptic Cleaning Kit is officially live! This update brings two brand-new maps, reworked narrative notes, quality-of-life polish, and various balance adjustments based on player feedback.
New Maps
You can now jump into two brand-new levels: Sector 7-B and St. Hope Hospital. Both maps feature new environments to clean, repair, and clear out as well as new objects to wash, deconstruct and repair.
Narrative Improvements
For players following the lore, a new readable note has been added to the Diseased level. In addition, the notes left behind in various levels by "-SK" have been reworked to improve overall narrative flow and story continuity.
Quality of Life & Visual Fixes
I've made several tweaks to improve the core cleaning experience. A Gamma slider is now available in the options menu to adjust game brightness. Some artwork has been updated to better fit the timeline, and vacuumable glass shard textures were updated to make them easier to spot.
The vacuum tool collection area has also been increased, which should prevent loose objects from getting missed and end up falling behind the player.
Balance & Performance
To smooth out progression, higher-tier upgrades now cost less, and the Washer Area upgrade is more effective. Acquired resources from various cleanable and destructible objects have been adjusted, and textures across the game have been optimized to reduce memory usage.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback and bug reports! Check out the full list of changes below.
