Feudals,
If you're just starting your adventure in Life is Feudal: Arden, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions, based on the latest updates from our FAQs, AMAs, and other community insights, to guide you through initial steps of your journey:
How many character slots are available on a single account in Life is Feudal: Arden?
The maximum number of character slots available on a single account in Life is Feudal: Arden is 2, and this limit is the same for all players, regardless of premium status. Currently, there is no option to buy additional character slots.
What are the parameters of a private claim? Is it possible to have a personal claim in the Red Zone?
Only guild monuments can be built in the Red Zone, while private claims can be established in the Green Zone. A player can have one private claim per account. Private claims in the Green Zone can be expanded up to 300 tiles, regardless of account status. To maintain these claims, support points are required (except for premium users with free upkeep).
What are the requirements for creating a guild and placing a guild Monument in Life is Feudal: Arden?
To create a guild in Life is Feudal: Arden, you need at least 10 characters in your group. However, to place a Guild Monument, 5 of these 10 characters must have an active premium subscription. The premium subscription must remain constantly active for these characters. If the number of premium characters falls below 5, the guild leader will receive a 72-hour warning before the monument starts collapsing.
How to properly place a Guild Monument in Life is Feudal: Arden and what are the placement restrictions?
To properly place a Guild Monument in Arden, players must adhere to several rules:
- The Guild Monument cannot be placed within 3 fiefs of the server border (you can build on the 4th). You can see the boarder as a straight dotted line across the map.
- It cannot be placed within 3 fiefs for another Guild Monument.
- The monument must be placed at least 5 tiles away from the fief border.
Is there a cooldown for placing a new guild monument after the previous one has been destroyed?
The cooldown for re-building guild monuments has been reinstated. Re-build guild monument cooldown is 24h real time.
What are the PvE and PvP zones in Life is Feudal: Arden?
The Green Zone and Red Zone in Life is Feudal: Arden are fully separated, with the Green Zone offering peaceful PvE gameplay on the right island and the Red Zone providing PvP combat on the left island, each with its own unique resources and regions. There is no buffer zone between the two; players can choose to play within the Green Zone, or venture into the Red Zone. The resource flow between these areas has been removed to maintain balance and prevent players from unfairly utilizing features specific to each zone.
How can I switch between PvE and PvP zones?
All new players spawn in the Green Zone, where they can enjoy a peaceful PvE environment and focus on building and exploration. Once they're ready for more combat-focused gameplay, players can use a Traveler's Idol (a glowing pole) next to a trading post to transfer to the Red Zone (PvP). In order to return to the Green Zone from the Red Zone, unbind your character from a house and let the character die (in battle, honorably, if possible).
Is there a way to sacrifice Minor XP, and if so, which idols allow it?
No, currently there are no idols that you can sacrifice Minor XP to.
I used to play Life is Feudal: MMO long ago, and even made purchases. Will I be compensated?
If you had played Life is Feudal: MMO years ago (before it was relaunched under the LTG banner), you might be eligible to receive compensation proportional to your previous spendings in a form of LiF coins! Poeple who were registered before the 2023 can also receive a bonus. LiF coins can be used to make purchases in the game's shop. You can see a step by step guide on how to claim your LiF coins in our Balance restoration campaign post: https://ltg.com/news/2024/balance-restoration-starts-now
How can I use LiF Coins, and how do I convert them into God's Favor? And where can I look for my current LiF coins balance?
When purchasing an item, the option to pay with LiF coins will always be prioritized. Only if you have no more LiF coins will you be suggested to pay with real money. If you do not have enough LiF coins to complete the purchase, the difference can be paid with real money. You can always check your current LiF coin balance via the site (https://ltg.com/). To do so, you will need to log in with your account and check the expandable widget at the top right corner.
Where can I see my purchases?
When you make a purchase in the shop, it will automatically be transferred to your Account's inventory. To check your purchases, press "Esc → Account inventory"
What benefits does a premium subscription offer in Life is Feudal: Arden?
A premium subscription in Life is Feudal: Arden grants several key benefits, including the ability to build a guild monument (with the requirement of 5 premium characters in the guild), switch character builds, and no upkeep costs for private claims. Premium players also receive a +25% passive bonus to crafting and combat experience gain, insurance for experience loss upon death (5 points of insurance), and additional special cosmetics.
Where can I check my remaining premium time in Life is Feudal: Arden?
Currently you can see the remaining days of premium at your private monument's menu in the "green zone". We understand that for many players (especially those who prefer the "red zone" exclusively) this is fairly inconvenient. We plan to expand this option by adding this information to the dashboard in the nearest future.
Does LiF: Arden require a subscription to LiF: MMO?
We want to highlight that Life is Feudal: Arden is a F2P game that does not require any subscription on your part. At the same time, Life is Feudal: MMO is a subscription-based game. As both games are operated by the same studio, a player receives bonuses for each of them when creating their account. This means that when you first create a profile to play LiF: Arden, you will automatically receive trial subscription for LiF: MMO as a default bonus. It is important to clarify the following points:
- The subscription does not have an auto-prolongation option. Once the trial period is over, the game won't launch until you make a payment to unlock the option.
- The game cannot charge players for subscription without their explicit consent.
Is Steam Deck supported by the game?
No, Steam Deck is not supported by Life is Feudal: Arden.
