All of the sudden, Retro-Pixel Castles feels a lot more godlike! Introducing InDev 15 Stable, the long awaited influence update.
This build is a huge landmark, introducing the groundwork to a lot of Retro-Pixel Castle's future features, and finally starting to blend elements of godlikes and village simulations together into one cohesive unit. The influence system is far from completed, this update is just the beginning, but I hope you all enjoy the great new features!
Another major change in this patch is the AI system, the entire AI system was gutted and completely rewritten from the ground up. The new AI is somewhat smarter, more dynamic and overall easier to work on. This new system will allow me to work on much more complicated behaviors in the future that will make them all feel a lot more natural. I've already added many more branches to the AI, and the unstable build testers have already reported it has been a great improvement, so I hope the rest of you enjoy it too!
