This week, we want to share some exciting developments we are currently working on.
Introduction of the Skill Branching System
As we prepare for the new update, we are focusing on providing a different experience each time you play. We are developing a new system that not only enhances intuitive usability but also incorporates extremely varied and even radical concepts into the character designs. This will allow players, as they become more skilled, to experiment with different combinations and try completely new ways of playing. Through this, we aim to expand replayability and create a foundation for experimenting with more diverse methods based on player feedback.
One reason the existing hero level-ups might not seem particularly appealing is that the changes before and after leveling up are mostly numerical. To address this, we have developed a system that adds directions for growth when a hero reaches a certain level. This branching system will evolve gameplay from simple dice skill-based play to utilizing unique character skills and exploring combinations for more powerful effects.
The Skill Branching System will be a feature where players can choose from multiple skills displayed on the leveling-up screen once characters reach certain levels.

We also plan to introduce new relics, characters, and elements of the Hero's Chronicle as part of diversifying the skills.
Update Cycle and Development Process
The Dicey Tales development team has been consistently rolling out weekly updates.
However, as this development is of a larger scale, more time will be needed to provide a high-quality update. We are incorporating more exciting ideas than initially planned and are fully committed to this update. While focusing on this new update, we will temporarily pause our weekly updates but will continue to share details about the development process and elements through our developer notes each week.
