Postponement of Healer Simulator RPG Release: Why We Decided to Wait?
Welcome to our players and everyone following the development of Healer Simulator RPG!
Today, we want to honestly explain why we made the difficult decision to postpone the game's release. It wasn't an easy choice, but we are confident: this will make the game significantly better!
We would like to apologize for the postponement and then explain why it is necessary.
1. Improving Gameplay Based on Tester Feedback
Since the announcement, we have received feedback from participants who played the DEMO version of the game (by the way, it’s still available). Many players noted that the healing and patient interaction mechanics can be made deeper and more realistic, and the boss difficulty can be adjusted to create a more challenging and flexible combat system (but not overdo it and make it too difficult like for Dark Souls fans).
«We realized that we can add more variety to diagnosis and treatment so that each disease has its own unique features and is reflected in a more interesting and creative way» – says the lead game designer of the project.
Instead of releasing a “raw” version, we are adding new mechanics, such as:
Arena (You will be able to watch battles between various game characters, including key characters! And, of course, place bets, winning or losing gold).
Dungeons and... Dragons, yes (The dungeon system includes random enemies, various traps, and randomly generated rooms to make each adventure unique! Moreover, you decide whether to go with one group or another into the dungeon, making it even more exciting and unpredictable).
Improved Patient AI (they will behave more realistically).
Enhanced Visuals (we will showcase a new trailer with more vibrant graphics, allowing you to immerse yourself in an even more beautiful universe of Healer Simulator RPG and experience greater bliss by diving even deeper!)
More Bosses! (of course, some bosses were hidden in the Demo version, but we decided to add even more to implement the new combat system we mentioned earlier).
2. Qualitative Changes, Not Just Bug Fixes
The postponement is not just about “finishing what we didn’t have time for.” We want the game to make a strong impression right away. Therefore, we are working on:
Revamped Graphics (improved shaders, animations, interface).
Optimization (so the game runs smoothly even on low-end PCs).
Additional Content (new locations, quests, characters).
As one of our developers said:
«If we released the game now, it would be a good project. But we want it to be excellent».
3. Community Feedback – Our Main Guide
We have carefully studied the feedback on various social platforms and social networks.
We listen to everyone’s opinion! This is important to us, please share your ideas, express your thoughts in any way and wherever you feel comfortable!
4. Experience of Other Developers: Why Postponement is Okay?
We studied the stories of other studios and realized: postponement is often the best decision.
We love to learn. We believe this is important. We are not ashamed to admit our mistakes if we learn from them. We also learn from others’ mistakes or life paths.
There have been many amazing projects that postponed their release date for various reasons, and afterward, this patience and hard work fully paid off with satisfied users and positive reviews. We want our game to turn out excellent as well, so we are ready to work on it even more and harder!
5. What Does This Mean for Healer Simulator RPG?
We don’t want to repeat the mistakes of those who rushed for the sake of a date. Our goal is a game that we will be proud of, and you will enjoy for many years.
So, When is the Release?
Release Date: May 13, 2025.
Thank you for your understanding and support! We promise that the wait will be worth it.
