May 6th is the Early Access date.
It's coming fast, and if we're being honest, the studio is sitting somewhere between nervous and excited right now, probably closer to both at the same time. We're in that final stretch where you're just grinding through the list, trying to make sure everything is where it needs to be before real players are actually in the game.
This month was a big balance pass for space combat, enemy AI turn-based, UI, performance... pretty much everything. Some of it was big swings, some of it was just things that needed fixing and finally got fixed. Either way the game is feeling a lot better for it, and we're feeling good about where it's landing. Minus the lack of sleep.
There's still work to do, there always is, but we're ready and excited.
