Build A Rocket Boy and IOI Partners today released the final trailer and announced the global launch of MindsEye, the highly anticipated action-adventure game from visionary game director Leslie Benzies. Available now.
MindsEye delivers a gripping cinematic campaign, dynamic tactical combat, and an expansive creative ecosystem powered by Build A Rocket Boy’s proprietary Game Creation System.
Set in Redrock, a sprawling desert metropolis ruled by surveillance and automation, MindsEye follows Jacob Diaz, an ex-soldier haunted by fractured memories. As his personal mission escalates, he’s forced to navigate a world shaped by rogue AI, militarized tech, and a fragile grip on control, all while confronting the truth about his past.
MindsEye combines high-stakes narrative, fast-paced third-person combat, and cinematic set pieces. Players fight on foot, behind the wheel, and in the air, supported by the evolving DC2 drone, a tactical companion linked to Jacob’s MindsEye implant. From city streets to rocket launch sites, every mission pushes intensity and scale.
“With MindsEye, we wanted to create something original, something that pushes boundaries, feels familiar, and is genuinely fun to play and rewarding to create,” said Leslie Benzies, founder of Build A Rocket Boy. “It’s been nearly a decade of collaboration across design, tech, narrative, and art. This world wasn’t just built for players; it was built with the idea that they’d eventually take it further.”
In addition to the scripted campaign, MindsEye will be an ever-expanding player experience, with new missions, races, and challenges delivered monthly, on all platforms thanks to the power of BARB’s Game Creation System. On PC, Build.MindsEye opens up the Game Creation System itself, empowering players to craft, publish, and remix their own gameplay - all without leaving the game.
“This is about access,” Benzies added. “About breaking down the walls between studio and player. The Game Creation System puts the power of development in players’ hands. MindsEye is designed to grow, adapt, and inspire; it’s not just a game, it’s the future of interactive entertainment.”
