Office Affairs: Executive Decisions – Patch 1.10
“Smoothing Things Over” Update
Release Notes – v1.10
Greetings Executives,
Update 1.10 is here with a focus on tightening character interactions, improving quest continuity, and patching up a few awkward moments that broke immersion—or just flat-out broke. We've done a bit of spring cleaning around the office, and things should now run a lot more smoothly, especially for those of you deep into the “Desk Service” questline.
🛠️ **Bug Fixes & Improvements**
- Fixed: Player Animation Trigger – “Desk Service” Quest (Emily)**
- An animation glitch was causing the player character to freeze or misalign when initiating dialogue with Emily during the early stages of “Desk Service.”
- Player now properly faces and interacts with Emily during all relevant dialogue exchanges.
- Fixed: Emily Missing from Bathroom Scene – “Desk Service” Quest**
- A timing bug prevented Emily from appearing in the designated location for her key bathroom dialogue scene.
- Trigger timing and conditions have been corrected to ensure proper event flow.
- Additional audio and lighting polish applied to the scene for mood consistency.
- Fixed: Rachel Office Visibility Bug – Post-AVN Scene**
- Rachel was incorrectly hidden from the office during regular hours after the conclusion of her AVN story scene due to a missed conditional reset.
- She now appears as expected during daytime segments, allowing for continued interactions and quests.
- Added: Missing Audio Dialogue – Angela Interactions**
- Several Act 2 interactions with Angela were missing full audio lines.
- Voice lines have now been fully implemented and synced to lip animations for all relevant meetings, reprimands, and “Executive Review” encounters.
💼 Other Notes:
- General stability improvements during multiple concurrent quest chains.
- Additional background NPC dialogue added to enhance immersion during busy office hours.
- Minor clothing clipping fixes across several seated animation states.
We appreciate your continued feedback and your *very* active participation in the workplace drama. We’ll keep ironing out the wrinkles in your executive experience — both on and off the clock.
See you at the water cooler,
— The Office Affairs Dev Team
