This update introduces larger groups, public ride islands, several bug fixes, as well as balance changes to our Crown Chase reward system and Gear Upgrade system.
New Public Ride Island Option: We now have enabled the ability for players to see each other on Ride Islands. This means you’ll have the option of choosing to join either a Public or Private Ride Island lobby before you set off on your adventure!
Gear Upgrades - Individual Stat Rerolls: Thanks to everyone’s feedback, we have improved our Gear upgrade system at the Farrier.
Stat Rerolls: Instead of being required to reroll all of your gear’s stats at once, players now can choose to reroll individual stats.
Balanced Star Levels: Stat rolls across star levels for Horse Gear have been evened out and now max out individually at 40. The cumulative amount possible remains unchanged; we have just tweaked the curve. The exact changes…
Stats for all upgrades on Horse Gear will be between 30-40.
For now, stats for all upgrades on Player Gear will remain unchanged (i.e between 20-50.) This is a bug and is intended to be resolved in the coming days.
Reworked Crown Chase Rewards: Rewards have been tweaked to encourage players to participate. Now instead of the top three players receiving 40, 30, or 20 tokens - while others receive 10 - the reward distribution is more gradual and more fair.
Crown Proximity: The new system now rewards players who spent time being close to a crown in addition to rewarding participants who held the crown for a period of time.
Animation Polish: We have released the first round of idle animation improvements for all horses. Now while staying still, your horses flick their ears and swish their tails.
A Note on Blinking: Dutch Warmbloods will blink; a fix for Friesian blinking will be coming in the next update.
Larger Groups: We have increased the maximum size of groups to ten users! This will let you enjoy larger group races, larger private Ride Island trail rides, and more.
UI Improvements: We have continued to improve the various menus and user interfaces in the game.
Fast Travel Mini-Map: All fast travel points have been added to the mini map. Unique tooltops will explain how to unlock the locations.
Farrier Gear Upgrades: The upgrade menu has been given an overhaul to support the new individual stat reroll feature and other changes to our upgrade system. This will let you choose
Ride Island Options: We have updated the Ride Island UI to support travelling to either the public or private version of a Ride Island.
Improved Behavior: We have improved header spacing, reworked how we display groups to accommodate up to ten users, icons for new store items, enhanced icon navigation on controllers, and other improvements.
