Hello Talewardens!
Act II is almost finished!
Now in Act II, you will be able to visit 13 locations, talk to your companions at 5 campfires, and watch a shadow puppet show at one of them. We have created 12 new backgrounds, 6 new CGs, 4 new characters' sprites and updated 4 old ones, and made many additional graphics. All that's left to do is to add an extra place to visit (which may or may not lead to your kidnapping later 😉) and make final adjustments.
After that, we will revise Act I and start working on Act III!
Here's an example of recent changes. Some sprites, like Daydra's, received minor updates, while others, like Puna's, underwent total redesigns:
Take a sneak peek at Act II's scene where you meet Marjorie, a deer centaur who creates sculptures from her own clay-hair. She will try to help Finch (the statue guy) discover what he really wants: to be human. You can either promise to help him change or convince him that it’s better to remain a marble statue.
And since it's June, we want to wish everyone a happy Pride Month! To celebrate, we have created illustrations of our cowboys with their colors. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
Thank you for your patience and support! We really appreciate feedback, so please don't hesitate to reach out.
You can play demo of Talewarden: Riders of the New Day on Itch.io and Steam!
