Here we are! Version 0.80 Beta is here!
The complete core of the game is in place and can now move from Alpha to the heights of Beta build!
Although still rough around the edges, the more or less complete core experience is now in place.
Whats next? Well...
- Game Testing, to hopefully find all those bugs (we already know of a couple).
- Bug Fixing, lets get as many as we can before March!
- Polishing, making things look and sound nicer / better, hopefully give the player a nice experience.
- Add the ending, yes, this bit is still missing.
- Achievements! Everybody loves these!
What bugs you already know of?
- Tinfoil Guys still doesnt play ball 100% of the time.
- One of the main story puzzles needs a rework slightly, each puzzle is meant to be completed one way, ive discovered mutiple possible ways with one of them.
What else to add?
- The defense minigame needs more going on.
- The Tavern Quest system, although it works, its a bit dull, i'll leave it for now but have ideas on something else.
- The ending as mentioned above.
- Proper game options would be a nice add I think.
So, here we are, I think we are on course for our March release date.
To the supporters and the gamers, thank you for your time and patience.
To the testers, thank you for you help.
I'll be the first to admit, for what started as a simple idea, has taken me far longer than I hoped.
