Hey hello! It's Andy again!
Today we're going to take some time to meet one of the cast members of Scaravan 66: Scoville!
Scoville is a Road Reaper and a powerful ally of our hero Lucky D. He gives fire-related upgrades at pit stops that'll make even the fiercest minions of hell sweat.
Once a hitchhiker, traveling cook, and odd-jobber, Scoville could charm anyone with a word or a pot of chili. Wearing his heart on his sleeve didn’t always pay off in life, but it never made him jaded, only wiser. If bad experiences were hard lessons and hard lessons made a wiser man, then Scoville knew it all. He wasn’t one to raise his voice, but not one to roll over either. If you are lucky enough to call him friend or neighbour, you can’t pass by without being offered some of his latest experimental culinary creations or comforting favourites.
After coming to an untimely road related incident on Route 66, Scoville awoke as a Road Reaper. Forced to reap souls for what all he knew was eternity. Frustrated as anyone would be, he soon discovered he was not the only one and took great pride in giving his community of road reapers a needed touch of warmth and hospitality. He discovered that in death he had the power to imbue his food with magical properties, a by-product of walking the line between the world of the living and dead. With his new found power he could cook up a meal to the specific needs of his friends. A little cheer-up soup here, a little courage brisket there. A skill so useful (and delicious) he really solidified his position as a leader in the community.
Scoville is one of the most loved and appreciated by his fellow reapers on Route 66. Everyone always makes time for Scoville, because he always makes time for them.
That's all for now! Check back on Friday for the next DevLog and be sure to try the demo and wishlist Scaravan 66 today!
