Misspell is an atmospheric hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania set on the distant island of Melanor.
At the heart of the story is a young girl whose arm is entwined by a living magical vine. The world she once knew was shattered by a mysterious crystal that wiped out an entire civilization. All that remains are ruins, echoes of the past, and a strange, lingering energy. On her journey through this forgotten land, she’ll seek to uncover the secrets of her past and discover who she truly is. But her path is more than just a search for answers — the choices you make along the way will shape the fate of the island and those who call it home. Which path will you choose?
What to expect:
A story-rich journey full of mystery and unexpected revelations
A unique hand-drawn art style that brings every corner of the world to life
A deeply interconnected world with many locations to explore
Intense combat and evolving abilities linked to the magical vine
