Hi, everyone. Welcome to my humble hub. I'm a solo developer from Vietnam and I run an indie studio named Double EXP.
I'm quite new to all of this, but I am fiercely passionate about video game. I always aim to deliver the most innovative games to you.
Today, I'm honored to introduce my most ambitious project up to date: Relics - The Card Game.
The Game
Relics - The Card Game is a collectible card game about treasure hunting. In this game, you will form a group of explorers to compete against others for ancient artifacts called Relics.
Gameplay-wise, Relics was inspired by both the classics and the new ones of the genre. The game also has a small touch of rougelike element. The result is a unique experience that is approachable, yet deep and strategic.
Graphic-wise, Child of Light and Gris were the greatest inspiration for the game. The game fully commits to the watercolor aesthetic. And I hope you will see how much love was put into the game.
Collecting Cards
Players can unlock new cards upon leveling up, and they can choose what they want to unlock from an ever-expanding pool. That's right. Say goodbye to Booster-packs and Loot-boxes. In this game, you always get what you want, simply by playing.
If you are new to the genre, feel free to unlock cards with simpler mechanics and learn things at your own pace. If you are a veteran, you might enjoy experimenting with cards of different archetypes for devastating combo. The choice is yours.
But of course, skilled players are rewarded handsomely. Players can challenge themselves with missions. By completing missions, players get additional EXP which helps them progress even faster. Skilled players can build decks that let them progress many missions at the same time. In this game, experimenting is highly encouraged.
