Hello everyone, I’m LonelySnow, the developer of DreamEcho.
Thank you so much for your support. DreamEcho sold over 10,000 copies on its first day on Steam—a result far beyond anything I imagined, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
Over the past two and a half years since I quit my job to pursue indie game development, I have been through many ups and downs. This is my first officially released title.
Due to my own limited energy, the development conditions, and the crowded release window in the second half of the year—with so many major titles launching one after another—I had no choice but to release a version that still has its shortcomings earlier than planned. I am fully aware that the current version is far from perfect: the visual presentation, game balance, and tutorial all have significant room for improvement, and the overall testing and polish are simply not enough. For all of this, I am truly sorry. I also want to thank every player for both your honest criticism and your generous patience.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for accepting a game that, at this stage, still has so many flaws, and for choosing to support me. I will never betray that trust. I will keep refining the game, working hard to shape it into the vision I hold in my heart and into something that lives up to your expectations.
I have already received a great deal of valuable feedback and suggestions from players, and I will read and think about each one carefully. Once I have handled the most urgent post-launch fixes, I will organize and share a complete roadmap, clearly communicating the upcoming bug fixes and development plans.
Once again, thank you to every single player.
With sincere respect, LonelySnow
