As more players complete runs and become comfortable with the core mechanics, a new system has been introduced to offer additional challenge and long-term progression.
Obsession Burden is a scalable difficulty system that allows you to increase the intensity of your runs. Each level adds new constraints, enemy advantages, or limitations that progressively make survival more difficult.
This system is entirely optional and can be selected before starting a new run. Higher levels represent a greater commitment, where each decision matters more and mistakes become increasingly costly.
There are currently 13 levels of Obsession Burden available to explore and master.
In the future, I’m considering adding a Daily Ranked Run Challenge. Do you think that’s a good idea? I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
