What’s up, Rombattler? We hope you enjoyed the previous newsletter about the restaurant and office maps, because today we are going to talk about the other two map themes in the game! Prepare a mental note to write down all the mechanics of each map to take advantage of your friends the next time you play the game!
Living Room
Let’s start with a classic, the first map ever made for Roombattle. Here you can find anything that you would want in your home, but let’s see how everything interacts with the vacuums.
Fish Tank
Filled with plastic fishes, they are not real, so don’t be sad if the fish tank drops and breaks; no fish will be harmed. Oh and one more thing, the tank leaves a puddle when dropped.
Fan
For a human, the fan is a very nice invention, the sense of fresh air on a hot summer day… It's just so pleasant. For our little vacuums it’s a little different; it feels like they are on Mount Everest, getting hit by the most powerful wind ever recorded, so try to avoid it!
Cushions
They may look comfy, but whatever is inside them makes you bounce in the opposite direction if you touch them!
TV
Probably the most expensive interactable in the game, so be careful… In case you “accidentally” make it fall, it will block a part of the map.
Museum
The last map we will be giving tips for is the Museum. This is for all the players that are obsessed with dinosaurs and/or over 80 years old; we want to let you know that we specially love you.
Dinosaur
Biggest interactable item in the whole game. I mean, it’s a whole dinosaur. You can hit it many times, and it will drop some spiky bones, so colliding with it may cause some trouble.
Egg
An ancient egg that has been kept in the museum for a very long time, it would be catastrophic if it broke, wouldn't it? (I once saw one break and made a giant dust cloud.)
Lasers
The museum has a lot of valuable items so it needs a strong security system at night. When the lasers activate, they prevent everyone from passing through.
Paintings
Ancient paintings that show how the dinosaurs really were back in the day, but they aren’t normal paintings; it feels like you can get inside them. I remember touching one and appearing in a completely different location; it felt pretty strange.
Well, now you know all about our maps, so the next time you play Roombattle, remember every interactable and use it to your advantage! Thanks for reading the newsletter. Let us know if there’s something specific about the game that you would like to read about!
