The main goal of this patch is to introduce rings into the game. Rings or recipes for crafting rings can be found in dungeons (see previous patch). Dungeons are located across faction lands and need to be discovered.

Dungeons are now separated by faction and contain faction-specific lists of recipes/rings that can be found inside. This means there is no way to find all possible recipes/rings in a single dungeon. Dungeons close to the player's fortress contain only one recipe/item inside a chest, but other dungeons contain two recipes/items. To be able to craft a ring, the player must find the recipe, research it, and then craft it.

Building upgrades are introduced in this game update. A new research has been added, and after completing it, players can upgrade certain buildings.

Another important change is the workers rebalance. Currently, buildings may contain both required and optional working slots. A building will not work if any of its required slots are empty, but these slots provide full points to the building's production. Optional slots don't affect whether the building operates, but they do provide only half of the production points. For example, if a building has 1 required and 1 optional slot and workers with 1 production point each are assigned, this building will produce 1.5 points. However, for a building with 2 required slots, production will be 2 points.
List of changes:
- Added rings, ring recipes, and corresponding research
- Added new complex materials required for crafting rings
- Rebalanced research: Ancient equipment previously appeared in the game too early. Now, research requires trained workers. There are two ways to train a worker: the Proficiency Hall building and increasing main attributes.
- Added building upgrades and new research for that
- Reduced the cost of the laboratory and workshop and added upgrades to them
- Added detailed info about expenses and income for gold when hovering in the global map UI
