- Updated the main trailer on the steam page to use the live version of the boss fight as well as the updated art in the game. The trailer no longer has placeholder panel container art or placeholder gear.
- Found the setting to outline all the text in a thin black line, this should help with readability.
- Lots of new functionality has been added to gear. -Upgraded gear can now provide additional bonuses at start of the turn, -thorns and damage resistance have been added to gear effects. -Shield and armor automatic block added as a start of turn effect instead of a trigger/react -Gear can trigger effects on enemy death or if that particular gear kills an enemy. -Thorns exists as a player effect in addition to triggers on enemy moving adjacent.
- Added the ability for targeting to include all enemies within a certain range of the hero, this area can be increased due to increased range effects. Heavy sword, bell, and Claymore shifted to use this targeting mechanism
- Massive overhaul to the help pages. Now it is an entire book with animated videos and still images to help the player understand what is going on, likely things will have to be added to these as feedback comes in.
- Decided to leave the release version with six normal levels then a finale. The first three levels will use the small maps, the second three will use the large maps for an escalating scope of the battles.
- Converted all text strings in game to use key_ids for future localization. With much of the Steam traffic coming from Asia and Eastern Europe I want at least Russian, Chinese, and Japanese to be there on actual release. For now I have only added German as two of my main playtesters are fluent in German.
- Language preference is set by the operating system, but users are able to select from available languages from a dropdown at the main menu, it will save (and load on game start) this choice in a seperate config file.
- As part of the localization pass there was a complete pass through of all lines of code that write to the combat log. Most of the double and confusing combat logs should now be much more clear and follow a standard format.
