1.Change to Orbit Calculation Method
We have changed the calculation method for the selected spacecraft’s orbit from using Kepler’s equations to using equations of motion.
As a result, orbits passing near celestial bodies become more complex.
When in the Earth-Moon system (within Earth’s Sphere of Influence), the gravitational forces of Earth and the Moon are taken into account.
When in the solar system (outside Earth’s Sphere of Influence), the gravitational forces of the Sun and the planets/dwarf planets are taken into account.
*Sphere of Influence. The region in which a specific celestial body exerts a significant gravitational influence on objects in orbit.
2.Change in Manual Display Method
We have replaced the manual that appears when you click the “?” icon in the lower-right corner of the screen with an HTML-based version.
This change has made it easier to update the manual, so we plan to expand its content in the future.
You can also view this manual in a web browser.
