Hello everyone,
We know we've been quiet for a while, but we've been hard at work—and today we're excited to finally share what we've been cooking up. The game has officially entered its final development sprint, and we'll be posting updates more frequently from now on. Your feedback is always welcome, and we read every single comment.
We have three important announcements today: our game has a new name, development has made significant progress, and our second playtest is approaching.
The New Name
Our original title, DarkFallen Survivor, is now officially SACRATA.
The new name reflects the game’s world and its central idea: survivors are not defined by what they have lost. When we take up arms, we step beyond the role of victims and choose our own path through a world shaped by sacrifice, faith, and judgment.
Development Progress
Over the past year, our team has focused heavily on polishing the core gameplay loop and deepening our systems. From meta-progression to the heat of in-match combat, the entire experience is now fully connected and playable. Compared to our very first playtest, both the volume of content and the overall polish of the game have seen massive upgrades:
Dual-Loop Integration: Seamlessly connects fast-paced, satisfying in-run mowing mechanics with deep out-of-run progression. The Echo Hall, Gear Forging, and Talent Activation ensure that every victory and defeat yields rewards.
Exploratory Random Open World: A randomly generated seamless open world scattered with treasure chests, relic rooms, shrines, blood springs, resource nodes, and special events. The deeper you explore, the faster you grow.
Multi-Build System: Freely combine divine skills, relics, runes, and tokens into diverse playstyles to carve a path through overwhelming waves of monsters.
Playtest 2 Teaser
Our second playtest is just around the corner! This test will offer significantly more content than our first one, covering the full spectrum of both the in-match action and out-of-match progression. We never left—we've just been keeping our heads down to push the game forward.
We sincerely invite all of you to sign up for Playtest 2. Every single piece of feedback you provide is crucial in guiding our optimization. Full details and dates for the test will be announced very soon.
