Welcome to Steam Next Fest!
As previously mentioned, we are hosting a fun Speedrunning Competition with our demo. Here are the official details below:
Participants that record a run of playing the Echoes of Eldoria Demo and post it to one of these social media sites with the hashtag #EOESpeedrun will be entered. These sites include:
- Youtube
- X
- Tiktok
Be sure to upload on a platform you check often, as winners will be contacted through the comments!
OFFICIAL RULES:
- You may not skip levels during a run (using the menu to go to the Mountain Base without having completed the tutorial)
- The game cannot be closed during a run
- The run begins when the timer starts in the tutorial level and ends when you receive your final time in the wishlist screen
- Use of the game's natural bugs and glitches is allowed to speed up gameplay
- Use of external programs are not allowed (ex. CheatEngine, WeMod)
- We will individually review all entries, so do not worry if your timer does not work properly
- Runs that violate these rules will not be considered for prizes
- Each contestant will only have their top submission considered
- All submissions must be submitted before March 3rd at 10:00 AM PT
You can submit as many entries as you'd like! Once you are entered, there's nothing much to worry about until the end of the competition. Once the competition is over, we will go through the submissions and find the Top 3 winners!
