[Update] Time Snatcher Handy 1.2.1 Update

Hello, Time Snatchers!

Update 1.2.1 has been implemented.

◆ New Items Added

• 7 new items have been added.

  1. Item "Spear of Basis"

     • A single-use Active Item. When used, negates your next 7 hits.

  2. Item "Square Brackets"

     • Max time increases by 10 seconds. Negates your next hit.

  3. Item "Metronome"

     • Attacks in time with the music become stronger.

  4. Item "Imaginary Space"

     • An Active Item. Spend time to launch a zone that drifts slowly and deals continuous damage.

  5. Item "Superposed Cat"

     • When you buy an item from a Time Vending machine, the remaining items turn into different items.

     • On Hard difficulty and above, the price-increase penalty from rerolling is reset.

  6. Item "Free Will"

     • Greatly strengthens the effects of Active Items.

  7. Item "Tail Glove"

     • You can hold up to 2 Active Items.

     • Active Items can be swapped with the mouse wheel, or with the R3 button on a gamepad.

◆ Costume Variation Added & Reworked

• Added the "Brawler" → "Champion" costume variation.

  • You start holding the item "Supercritical Fluid", and its attack power is even lower than the "Brawler".

  • It is designed around keeping your combo as high as possible.

• Reworked the "Sniper" costume variation.

  • Its starting item has been changed to "Jumping Hour". (Piercing attack)

  • Attack power has been greatly increased and attack speed greatly reduced.

  • Careful positioning and careful shots are required. Attacks pierce only once, which sets it apart from the "Scientist".

◆ Item Adjustments

1. Item "Chronometer"

   • Reworked: it now consumes time to teleport you to any location you choose.

(With a mouse you teleport to the cursor position; with a controller you can adjust direction and distance.)

   • The item description has been updated to match the new effect.

   • Visuals have been improved.

2. Item "Heptapod B Handbook"

   • Added a synergy effect: while you also hold the item "Counterclockwise Watch", attacks are fired forward and backward at the same time.

3. Item "Multiverse Dice"

   • Using it now resets the price-increase penalty accumulated on Hard difficulty and above.

4. Item "Air Fryer"

   • Attack power has been increased.

5. Item "Just a Branch"

   • Its effects have been improved.

6. Item "Perfectionism"

   • Visuals have been improved, and the sound effect that played too often has been reduced.

7. Item "Waterfall Bottle"

   • The buff-removal sound effect that played too often has been removed and replaced with a visual effect.

◆ Quality-of-Life Improvements

• Added an aim assist feature.

• It was added to reduce the frustration of attacks repeatedly missing.

• Its strength can be changed in Settings / Gameplay / Aim Assist.

◆ Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the item "Flywheel" did not count toward the unlock condition for "Overclock", despite being a movement speed item.

• Fixed an issue where the shop UI was displayed in the wrong colors.

• Fixed an issue where the screen kept shaking after a game over.

• Fixed an issue where the rotating laser pattern of the boss "Director Remonto" was abnormally strengthened on Hard difficulty.

• Fixed an issue where some bullet patterns of the boss "Between-Time Polyp" behaved abnormally while the boss was frozen by the item "Upside-Down Icicle" or similar effects.

• Fixed an issue where the upward knockback caused by the item "Just a Branch" could be abnormally strong.

◆ Translation and Text Improvements

• Corrected translations and improved text consistency.
