True Thief is an atmospheric isometric stealth-RPG about the art of survival without violence. No killing - only stealth, agility and the ability to manipulate circumstances. The player will have to find out what happened in this world, what is "Darkness" and how to get out of a difficult situation, in which the main character - Envet Nokt - got into.
Today we want to tell you whose voices bring characters to life in the demo version. Previously, we recorded voice-overs directly with the actors, with no centralized control, so the voices could vary in timbre and intonation.
It's different now. We're working with AniDub Online, and the process is managed by the voice director Eugene Semyonov. Together we have recorded full voice-overs of key characters for Early Access.
Who will you hear in our project?
The main character is Envet Nokt
Envet is an experienced thief and a refugee from Mirgard, who caught the beginning of the end. He was able to escape to the capital to start his journey anew, but fate has pushed him back onto the path of thievery. Where will this path lead him to?
🎙 Voiced by Arslanov Timur - the voice of Tanjiro in "The Blade that Splits Demons", Axel in "Lazarus" and many others.
Baron - Longrim Borg
The enigmatic and influential Baron L., who influenced Enweth's fate by simply kicking him out of his own house and housing his own spy. Whether we meet him is for our player to find out.
🎙 Voiced by Sharafutdinov Damir - the voice of Corkus in "Berserk", Amory in "Stalcraft", etc.
Refugee - Milta
A daring, demanding and ambitious girl. From her first day in the capital city of Orlund, she has done everything in order to get into the central quarter and get out of the slums.
🎙 Voiced by Dorofeeva Ekaterina - the official voice of the YouTube channel with 80 million subscribers. Also: Lara in "A Place in the Sun," Jerietta in "Stop Being a Hero."
The undertaker - Miles
An enterprising old dodger who likes to drink and be always in fashion. Many wonder where he gets the money for it. It is up to our player to figure it out.
🎙 Voiced by Sokolov Alexander - rapper J-Zuss in "Not for Broadcast", Talos Rucker in "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided".
The harbor master is Robert
Nothing gets past the local jack-of-all-trades Robert in Orlund. He's a real businessman and knows anything and everything. Enveth has to face him, but how will it end....
🎙 Voiced by Maslov Andrew - Scorpio in "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", Max in "The Callisto Protocol".
Enchantress - Aria
The proud and powerful Aria, Orlund's court sorceress.
🎙 Voiced by Zagorskaya Tatiana - Anya Forger "Spy Family", Fern "Friren" and many other familiar characters.
We really hope you enjoy the way the characters of the True Thief world sound. This is an important step for us - and your support makes it even more meaningful.
