A storm brews over Tianjin as the stars align.
When the hazy fog of Tianjin's Liulitai district meets the twelve zodiac signs, a mystery unfolds—a puzzle in which astrology becomes the key to unlocking human nature. From detectives to artists, dancers to everyday citizens, everyone in "The Zodiac Mystery" carries the mark of their zodiac sign.
Gemini: Lianshen, Suxin, Wenqiang
This sign is born with the unique ability to completely immerse themselves in perception and observation. Gemini aims to uncover truth in the world, see everything they possibly can, and understand new ways of doing things. They are often great helpers with sharp minds. Their keen eyes and nimble hands often allow them to handle things skillfully.
Scorpio: Chief Jiao, Xiaohong
This sign constantly lives every moment like it's their last, leaving behind no regrets. This strong sense of crisis is both a blessing and a curse. Scorpio can deftly handle all kinds of uncertainties, but their weakness lies in obsessing over the immutable past and worrying about the future that has yet to come. This sign is also known as the quintessential romantic, as they will do anything for love.
Aquarius: Tianbao, Xiaowen, Tianzhong
The beginning and end of this sign's life is marked by freedom. For Aquarius, doing whatever they like without pressure or influence from outside factors is the ideal way of life. Aquarius can be difficult to understand, though they are typically smart and discerning. This sign is able to see both fine details and the bigger picture. This intelligence helps Aquarius consistently view things from their own special perspective.
Leo: Jinrong, Hongyan
More than any other sign, Leo is aware of their mortality at any given moment—yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come. They want to seize the moment while they still can, finding hope within it. Leo doesn't like keeping secrets and always reveals them sooner or later, feeling relieved when they can finally get it off their chest. Performing freely onstage like a child is always a highlight for a Leo.
Libra: Xiaoping
This sign loves all things beautiful and has a great eye for aesthetics. Libra is often willing to sacrifice or suppress their own feelings to maintain superficial peace. They are elegant communicators. When Libra is up against a strong personality or in a disadvantageous situation, they will unwittingly stay silent, sometimes acting distracted or hesitant. However, this is only out of self-preservation.
Capricorn: Xiaorong
Capricorn is a climber. This sign hopes to make the world shine brighter with their dreams and abilities. For Capricorn, understanding how to make themselves happy is perhaps their most difficult conundrum. They often wonder where life is leading them. It is not accolades or applause, but self-acceptance and independence. Both must be achieved, as gaining inner recognition is the only answer for this sign.
Virgo: Xiaojuan
This sign's truest form lies in being meticulously observant, harboring an extreme desire for growth, and finding fun in monotony. They are always ready to help and serve others, seeing it as a form of self-discovery. More than anything, assisting others acts as a conduit for Virgo to express themselves and realize their pursuit of perfection by providing help and support.
Pisces: Zhuzi
This sign's mind is a microcosm of the universe, acting as both their primary resource and refuge. Pisces has an incredible imagination that can be a double-edged sword. Their sense of boundaries can often be an issue, but it is also an important key to managing any and all of their relationships.
Taurus: Hongmei
This sign experiences the world through their senses, particularly tactile contact. They are unable to confront the existence of the world through their mind alone. A sense of security can be both their biggest opportunity and challenge. If Taurus can bravely let down their guard and avoid being too stubborn, the world will come alive in their hands.
Sagittarius: Meixia, Yan
For this sign, life is an adventure. With that in mind, they eschew all sense of security, living independently and freely as they experience the world. A love for freedom and pursuing the meaning of life is Sagittarius's main purpose. This sign believes there is no point in holding on to or living in the past because the future is already here.
Aries: Jianwei, Meina
Defined by fierce vitality and courage, this sign often represents the ability to overcome any threats, obstacles, or doubt through sheer willpower. They behave boldly, communicate directly, and love passionately. Of all the signs, Aries is least likely to hold back when expressing themselves. Once Aries zeroes in on a goal, they will move forward without hesitation, persisting until it is achieved.
Cancer: Xiaoli
For this sign, the world is structured around emotion. They are motivated by a strong sense of subjectivity. Cancer aims to experience consciousness, feeling every nuance of life. Though they can see hellish discord in life, Cancer opposes all disparities, violating common sense to love, trust, and accept all of the emotions that come with existing.
