Greetings, Lords and Ladies.
This is the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad team.
Today, we’d like to give our players a sneak peek at the upcoming content that will be added during Season 2: Highgarden Grand Festival.
Check out the details below to get a glimpse of what’s in store. From fresh challenges to engaging new adventures, there’s plenty to look forward to, and we hope you’re as excited as we are to experience everything Season 2 has to offer!
🌍 World Level System
To provide players with greater challenges and a stronger sense of accomplishment, we are introducing the World Level System.
This system is designed to elevate the difficulty and rewards of repeatable content across the entire open world, bringing a new sense of excitement and tension into environments you’ve already grown familiar with.
With the World Level System, all repeatable content in the open world will scale according to the selected level. The world will automatically adjust to match this level, ensuring that every encounter reflects the challenge you’ve chosen.
🚨 Please note that rewards from one-time rewards will not scale.
Players will unlock the World Level system after completing the final quest currently available in the main story (Stormlands - Crow’s Nest) and certain stages of the Wormwalks Challenge. When entering a World Level, both content difficulty and rewards will scale accordingly.
This update will introduce World Levels 1 and 2, offering tougher enemies and a higher level of challenge for players ready to test their skills.
🏰 Altar of Memories – Hard Difficulty
With the introduction of the World Level System, a new Hard Difficulty is coming to the Altar of Memories.
The first boss players will face on Hard Difficulty is the Giant Ice Spider. Its appearance is far more menacing, and it now wields stronger, more unpredictable skills that push players beyond the challenges of the normal version.
Defeating the Giant Ice Spider on Hard Difficulty will reward new tier equipment, giving you every reason to prepare for these intense and strategic battles. Sharpen your skills and get ready to face a tougher, more formidable foe than before.
🛡️ Tier 6 Equipment
Higher-tier rewards will also be available as another part of the new World Level System.
At World Level 1, players will be able to obtain materials for Tier 6 equipment. These materials are not limited to specific Ferocious Beasts. All Ferocious Beasts at this level will drop Tier 6 crafting materials, and you will be able to challenge any beast at this level to collect them.
Tier 6 equipment will be craftable once your character reaches level 37 and your Estate reaches level 25, which allows you to upgrade your Forge to level 8. All Ferocious Beast byproducts will be exchangeable while in World Level 1 and above.
Players will be able to use World Level content to collect these materials and craft the new Tier 6 equipment, preparing themselves for even more challenging adventures ahead.
This update is only the beginning for World Level content.
We are already preparing even more diverse World Level experiences for future seasons, and detailed information will be shared in an upcoming Developer Note later this month.
We hope you’ll stay excited as we continue expanding World Level content and introducing new additions to enhance your adventures.
Thank you for being part of our growing world.
