Hey everyone, excited to start sharing regular dev updates here on Steam! Here are some highlights from the last couple months.
Frog King Boss
Introducing our first boss, the Frog King Boss! Kill him before he slams you with his belly.
Buff Frog Enemy
New enemy! Buff frog who charges at you, thick boy walks with confidence…
Combined Inventory, Crafting, and Shop View
A piece of feedback from playtesters was improving the UI, making it more intuitive with more info in tooltips.
Twin Stick Movement
We’ve upgraded movement system to twin stick movement, combat feels quite a bit smoother now!
New Arcana and Balance Updates
Some of the arcana we added to encourage new builds and also address some feedback about a shortage of early game arcana:
Voltanic eruption: +5% increased fire damage for every lightning strike spawned in the past 5 seconds
Coin clicker: gain 1 gold at end of round for every 3 times this spell is cast (max 5 gold)
Single target: 100% increased damage, but this halves every time the spell damages a new target
Flameo: on cast, other spells gain +15 base fire damage for the next 10 seconds. does not stack
Re-ignite/re-charge/re-freeze: -1 fire/lightning/ice reduced mana cost
Also nerfed several existing arcana and other balance updates, shout out to all of our early playtesters for letting us know where we need to make adjustments!
